I joined King’s Ely Senior in Year 10.

Biology – A, Chemistry – A, Maths – A.
What University/Institution are you going to and what will you be studying?
I am off to the University of Southampton to study Physiotherapy, which was my first-choice University.
Are you going to University this year, or are you taking a gap year?
I am going to University this year.
What career path do you plan on pursuing?
I hope to obtain a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy, and become a qualified Physiotherapist in either the public or private sector.
What else did you participate in during your time at King’s?
I was a full-time boarder and Prefect in Hereward Hall. I participated in lots of Hereward activities, such as running stands at OsFest and during the Martin Doyle Challenge, and being part of their movie and quiz nights. I also one of the organisers of International Week, as well as being part of a band in the International Concert. I was also a member of the school’s Badminton Team.
Do you feel that you have been well supported at King’s?
Indeed! I was always well supported by my teachers, by answering my academic questions and making me feel like I belonged within the class. They were always engaging and had built my passion to learn and work even harder than before. Additionally, using the large and many sports facilities on campus, such as the sports hall, the astro, and the gym, have supported me in building physical strength and endurance.
What will you miss most about King’s and what did you enjoy most during your time here?
I will miss the lively community with my friends on school grounds, whether it be in the Old Palace or in Hereward Hall. They definitely helped by making long-lasting memories of my experiences there, in which I will remember forever. I will also miss my teachers, who were always amusing and knowledgeable, and created an atmosphere that was always enjoyable. I will also miss the socials that the school offers, the incredible school drama plays, and the entertaining concerts.
In what ways do you think King’s is unique or special compared to other schools?
Coming from a school from a different country, I can certainly say that King’s is very welcoming to international students. It carries on long lasting traditions, such as the Hoop Trundle, and other schools are unlikely to be this unique. King’s also has a very long and significant history, which makes it more distinctive than others.
