Kind-hearted King’s Ely Prep pupil, Emma, has donated around 12-inches of her hair to The Little Princess Trust!

Emma, who is in Year 8, decided to have her long locks cut for the first time in five years, not only for a change in style, but to also be able to bless someone else with it.

Launched in 2006, The Little Princess Trust provides free real hair wigs to children and young people, up to the age of 24, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions.

Emma’s mum, Genny, said: “Emma wanted to try something new and her hair was becoming unmanageable with it being so long. She also wanted to be able to bless someone else with it. She likes her new style very much and is finding it much more manageable. She may grow it out again, but it would take some time!”
