Thank you to everyone who supported our Old Elean Cricket Festival – both on and off the pitch!
We had the Old Eleans vs King’s Ely Staff match on Friday evening (June 21st), the inaugural Old Elean Ladies vs 1st XI Girls fixture on Saturday morning (June 22nd), and the Old Eleans vs 1st XI Boys game on the Saturday afternoon (June 22nd).
Results wise, the Old Eleans won their match against the Staff with 93 runs, the 1st XI Girls won their game against the Old Eleans by 5 wickets, and the Old Eleans won their match against the 1st XI Boys by 14 runs.
As ever, it was awesome to see so many alumni catching up with friends and former teachers, and playing a sport that they love on the same pitches that they did during their time at King’s.
