A record number of revellers resulted in a record amount of money raised for charity at this year’s OSFEST!

Thanks to your attendance and support, we can confirm that the fun and frolics on New Field and in the Sports Hall on May 5th, raised a whopping £3,300. This will be split equally between Osmond House’s 2023 charities – MS Society UK and Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).

OSFEST is our annual summer fete-style event, organised mainly by students in Osmond House (one of our Senior Boys’ Day Houses), with the support of their Housemaster, Paul Lott. All King’s families and friends are welcome to attend, from Nursery right the way through to Sixth Form.

Stalls and attractions are run by the students – aka Osmen – and this year’s included: ‘Beat the Keeper’, ‘Wheel of Fortune’, ‘Ring a Bottle’, ‘Golf Ball Roll’, ‘Whack a Rat’, ‘Test your Strength’, ‘Human Fruit Machine’, and more.

Tug-of-War proved as popular as ever, as did welly-wanging, cricket bowling, scaletrix, indoor rowing, ‘Gladiator Duel’, ‘Bungee Run’, and the bouncy castle.

Combine all of the aforementioned with ‘Sponge the Teacher’, live music, face painting, and enough food and refreshments to feed an army, and you had an event which was not only a brilliant way to kick-start the Coronation Weekend celebrations, but also an event which showcases why King’s is so much more than just a school.

Thank you to everyone who supported OSFEST this year, and congratulations to every single student and staff member who was involved in making the event the success it was!
