A Level Physical Education

This course encourages students to immerse themselves in the world of sports and to pursue their sporting passions.

Physical Education covers a wide range of topic areas and is vital to wellbeing in everyday life.

The A Level Physical Education qualifications allow students to play to their strengths and gain dynamic theoretical and practical skills for further education or work.

The qualification is a linear course with the students sitting their exams and submitting all their non-examination assessment at the end of the course.

A Level PE is “a field of study and not an avenue of study”. PE is an ideal match with: Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Psychology and History.

Our PE students often go on to study sport and Physical Education at University, or to pursue a career in Sport.
