Children are taught to play together in a safe and secure setting where they are supported to foster their innate sense of curiosity.

Education works best if there is a real partnership between parents and the school.
 

Children join us from age two, where they join Nursery One. Children then move at the start of the next academic year to join Nursery Two for their pre-school year. 

Qualified and experienced staff care for the children and a variety of different sessions are available, including a half day, a full day and an extended day option (08:00 until 18:00). 

We promote play, experimentation and investigation where Mathematics, Phonics and Literacy area learned through fun and interactive activities.

The Nursery has a Garden Day each week. The children come dressed in tracksuits and wellingtons ready for a day of planting, tending and harvesting in the vegetable patch, hunting for mini-beasts and developing physical, literacy, numeracy and creative skills in an exciting outdoor environment.

An interactive online learning journey allows parents to view photographs, videos and observations of their child on a secure website so they too can experience the joy that King’s Ely Nursery has to offer.
