The King’s Ely Sixth Form experience is so much more than studying for your A Levels.  There is a whole new range of learning opportunities available to you.

Our small class sizes mean that your teachers know you as an individual and will provide the support, guidance and challenge that you need to help you learn effectively.

With Sixth Form status, comes both privilege and responsibility.  Wherever possible, you make your own decisions.  School uniform is exchanged for your chosen smart business wardrobe, and you choose how and where you spend your free time.

Equally, you are encouraged to make your own unique contribution to our community, whether it is leading sports teams, running a club or mentoring younger students.  As the new, independent you emerges, you will engage in a wider world, prepare for the next step with confidence, and make the most of every moment.

We ensure a variety of subject combinations are accommodated in the timetable. You can study all of the traditional academic subjects, and pick up a new subject like Psychology, or pursue your creative interests in, for example, Music or Drama.

Co-Curricular

The range of activities enables all students to find their niche. We also offer a variety of trips and tours: some closely connected to the curriculum, some for sports squads, some for cultural purposes and others purely for adventure.

Scholarships

Our Scholarship awards are restricted to a maximum of up to 10% of the day tuition fee and are subject to satisfactory performance and behaviour, reviewed on an annual basis and at the end of Year 11.
