Ely is a small, safe city, surrounded by the beautiful Cambridgeshire countryside.

King's Ely is a 75 acer campus in the heart of the city, sharing grounds with Ely Cathederal, and occupying many of the cities medieval buildings.

Ely Market Place is one of the most popular in the region, renowned for its regular and themed weekly markets.

Ely’s food scene offers something for everyone. With traditional pubs offering home cooked dishes, to a myriad of world flavours and refined dining experiences, the choice is wide and the quality high.

Car

Train

King’s Ely is situated just 15 minutes North of Cambridge and just over an hour from London by train. The school is a short walk from Ely train station, which provides direct rail links to Cambridge, London, and Stansted. Trains to central London every half hour provide easy access to Heathrow Airport.

Air

The area is best served by Stansted Airport which has a direct rail connection to Ely. Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and East Midlands are all within reach by road and rail. Nearby Cambridge also has its own airport for private planes.
