I joined King’s Ely International (KEI) in Year 11.

Religious Studies – A*, Maths – A*, History – A, Further Maths – A

EPQ – ‘What is the Buddhist position on free will?’ – A*

What University/Institution are you going to and what will you be studying?

I am going to Magdalene College, Cambridge to study Philosophy.

Are you going to University this year, or are you taking a gap year?

I am going to University this year.

What career path do you plan on pursuing?

Hopefully I will go on to study Philosophy at Master or PhD level, and then stay in Academia.

What else did you participate in during your time at King’s?

I was an International Scholar and I was a boarder in Hill House. Also, I enjoyed being a member of ‘An Other Club’, which is a discussion club enabling students to talk about a range of topics, including History, Politics, and Philosophy.

Do you feel that you have been well supported at King’s?

Yes, I always received not only academic support, but mental support too – both in school and in the boarding house.

What will you miss most about King’s and what did you enjoy most during your time here?

What I will miss most is life in Hill House with my friends. Also, Mrs Jackson and Mr Jackson always organised different activities, which made life in the boarding house so enjoyable. I loved our Chinese New Year meal and water fight the most!

In what ways do you think King’s is unique or special compared to other schools?

I think King’s is unique for its quirky but fun traditions and activities, such as Hoop Trundle and OsFest.
