“It is hard to believe that only a week ago we were all in our various states of preparedness for the new school year. Already, the familiar sound of the children’s joyful conversations and their busy exploration of the campus has brought the school to life.
“Timetables have been shared, clubs and activities have been booked, and the children have begun to look forward to all that is planned for them this term. Thank you for all the liaison with teachers as the term began, and we look forward to meeting with many of you over the weeks ahead at one of the start of term events for parents and carers that we have planned.
“Next week will see our full schedule operating, and we look forward to seeing our new colleagues and the children who recently joined the school embracing all the possibilities available. I would like to celebrate the wonderful way in which existing students have been buddying new pupils and supporting their induction over these past few days – it has been uplifting to witness their kindness and consideration for others who maybe are not feeling as confident as they may be.
