Our 1st XI Girls’ Team’s first cricket fixture of the new term was at Chippenham Cricket Club.
The girls enjoyed a superb pre-season match against Chippenham 1st XI Ladies on April 25th, which resulted in them winning by nine wickets.
Lucy Lefevre, our 1st XI Captain, said: “All of the girls played really well as a team and together we put on a great performance, leading us swiftly to the win. It was fantastic to play against an adult side in a pre-season game and thanks to Chippenham 1st XI Ladies for hosting! It was a great experience for us, and the squad is very much looking forward to the season ahead now.”
