Bravo to King’s Ely Prep pupil, Amy, for winning a Bronze medal at the GB Skate Artistic (GBSA) free dance competition!
Amy, who is in Year 4, was representing Ely Roller Skating Club in the national competition. It was her first ever free dance competition and she performed to ‘Over the Rainbow’ from The Wizard of Oz in the tots (under 9) category.
This success comes just weeks after Amy achieved a Silver medal in the tots figure skating category of the GB Skate Artistic Spring Figures and Free Nationals competition.
Amy has been selected to represent Ely Roller Skating Club in both the figure skating and free dance national championships, which are being held in July, and the GBSA GB Team based on her performance in figure skating.
