A group of our King’s Ely Prep pupils had a whale of a time at Avid Climbing in Ipswich, Suffolk!
Eight climbers from Years 5-8 visited the indoor climbing centre on Saturday, June 15th with Outdoor Instructor, Mrs Sophie Ffitch.
The session started with a thorough warm-up and safety briefing, which was followed by detailed tuition on some of the climbs that the pupils would be attempting. The children all took a packed lunch with them, which provided handy fuel needed for the climbs and ascents they completed in the afternoon. A great day was had by all!
