Medical Centre

All King’s Ely sports staff are medically trained.

All medical care on match days will be covered through the King’s Ely Health and Wellbeing Centre, where nurses will be on call in the event of an injury. 

In Ely, there is a Minor Injuries Clinic at the Princess of Whales Hospital (CB6 1ND) which is approximately five minutes away by car.

In the event of a more serious injury, the player concerned will be taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge (CB2 0QQ) which is approximately 30 minutes’ drive.

  • Respect players, officials, and spectators to create a positive experience for all.
  • Ensure all matches are played in the right spirit and appropriate language is used at all times. 
  • Discourage unsporting behaviour within the field of play and on the sidelines.
  • Appreciate both sides and the effort they put into the match whilst avoiding criticism.
  • Recognise that success is measured by the quality of learning, not just the result.
